Twinsie Tuesday- Monochromatic Nails

PressSample
Happy Twinsie Tuesday Lovelies! Today the Twinsies are showing off "monochromatic nails." To be honest, I had absolutely no idea what the heck that meant. After talking with the other ladies and searching Google, I found out that they are just nails done with different variations or hues of the same color. Ummm...okay. My color is blue. Let's go...

These are the polishes in this manicure.
Lynnderella SoNoHo!, KBShimmer Blue-d Lines, and Cirque NYFW
I started with a base of two coats of Cirque Colors NYFW, "an ultramarine blue creme." It was actually pretty opaque in just one coat, but I used two. The formula is AMAZING and went on effortlessly. It is shown here with one coat of topcoat.

For the addition of the monochromatic look, I picked out two other blue colored polishes. I used KBShimmer Blue-d Lines, described by the brand as "an aquamarine ultra holographic polish." This baby stamped perfectly! This polish is one of her new Spring Collection polishes (full review to come tomorrow).

For the index finger accent, I used Lynnderella SoNoHo! This polish is super cute. It is a glitter bomb with a mixture of blue, purple, and silver holo glitters in a blue and purple shimmering base. I used one coat over Cirque NYFW. It is super chunky, but spread evenly across the nail with no glitter clumping.

Here's one last look at my monochromatic mani! I like how this came out. For the pinky finger accent I used varying sizes of holo rhinestones from Pueen Cosmetics (purchased by me). I simply stuck them on with base coat and sealed them with topcoat.
