Hi there lovelies!! Welcome to the new and improved Polished to Precision. As you can see, there have been some major changes over the past day or so. I wanted to round out this month’s celebration of my first blog anniversary with a new start. An improved nail blogger, with an added dimension of occasional makeup posts. Although I am no makeup artist, I do enjoy makeup in addition to nail polish. Yes, this is yet another of my
hoarding issues collector
I want to thank each of you for your continued support of P2P. It has truly meant a lot to me over this past year. Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to begin, those who cheered me on, offered words of advice, and the generous show of support across all mediums (Lakeisha, Sia, Debbie, mama, and so many others). I also want to thank the many brands that I have had the opportunity to work with. I really appreciate you taking a chance on me. With the saturation of the blogosphere, I know it is not easy to decide who to work with, especially when it comes to very new bloggers. Somehow you all decided to look pass the age of my blog, giving me a chance. I’d like to think it is my professionalism, quality, and personality that accompanied the variables making the decision. Whatever the case, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I also want to thank all of the wonderful guest bloggers who’ve appeared over the past month. I truly appreciate you for taking the time to share with my reader while my family transitioned from Florida to New England. Special thanks to Pam of Girly Bits, Laura of Polish Addict Nail Color, and Missi of Different Dimension for creating my beautiful custom anniversary polishes and sponsoring giveaways for my readers. I can’t even begin to thank you enough!
I do not know where the road will take this blog in the long-term; however, for now I have a few goals that I’d like to share with you.
1. To be the best blogger I can be…ALWAYS.
2. Incorporate more nail art posts.
3. Share makeup posts, swatches, and reviews.
4. Continued to build and maintain professional working relationships with brands, both indie and mainstream.
5. Continue to foster a sense of sisterhood between the Proud Beauty Bloggers of Color.
6. Maintaining good communication and relationships with my fans and supporters.
**Most of all, I want to have fun, while remembering that my family is first. Blogging is fun and relaxing, but not at the sacrifice of my happiness or that of my family.**
Again, I really am so very thankful to you for sticking around for this year (or however long it’s been since you began to follow me). Please take a look around at the site. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. I absolutely love it, so rude and inconsiderate comments that only reflect your personal tastes aren’t what I’m asking for here. I do, however, appreciate any constructive critical feedback that will assist the site in some manner that I may have overlooked. I’m trying to say that in the nicest way possible! But I know it won’t be an issue because you all rock! Hehe! Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing (well…reading) what you think in the comments.
