Happy Saturday lovelies! Today I have three polishes from the newly released Merry Movie Collection by Jior Couture. This collection was just released yesterday and is still available. Let's go ahead and take a look...
Son of a Nutcracker, according to the maker, is inspired by the movie "Elf." This polish has a cherry red jelly base with black and white glitters in various shapes and sizes. The formula was sheer, as expected for a jelly. I used three thin coats and there were no issues with application.
Believing is Seeing is inspired by "The Santa Clause" movie. This polish is a nude crelly with golden shimmer and multicolored glitters. It was very sheer and needed four coats for opacity. I really like the look of this one, but I wish I had been able to get more of the glitters onto the nails. Even after rolling, shaking, and turning the bottle upside down, those glitters were very hard to come out. Regardless, I really like this combination of a nude base with fun glitter colors!
Oh Holo Night is inspired by the classic song "Oh Holy Night," This is a vivid blue scattered holo that also glows in the dark. The formula was excellent and completely opaque in just one coat. However, I used two as usual. The glow-in-the-dark aspect adds a different element to this pretty blue holo. I charged (placed my fingers under a lamp light) for a few minutes in order to bring out the full blow glow-in-the-dark effect. Check out that glow!
Overall, these polishes are really great! I think this is a good spin off the traditional Christmas and Holiday themed colors. These are available individually for $8 and as a set (with the other 3 polishes in the collection) for $45. Check out the important information listed below.
