Happy Twinsie Tuesday Polished Babes! Today the Twinsies are showing off some "minimalistic" manicures with you. Whenever I think of a minimalist look, my mind immediately goes to "doing the most, with the least." Since that's the case, I decided to share a mani that is pretty simple, but definitely eye-catching. Well...in my opinion. LOL!
I started with two coats of Sally Hansen Scaredy Matte, a black creme with a matte finish. This polish went on without any issues in just two coats. The formula was thick (in a good way) and very smooth, making application a breeze.
To complete my minimalist look, I used two glitters from Sally Hansen's Halloween Big Glitter Topcoats Collection. Both of these glitters were really easy to work with and spread easily across the nails. They did not clump together at all. I began with one coat of Costume Glitters, a clear base full of gold glitters.
Although it's hard to see on the pics, I dabbed a coat of Dressed to Thrill (silver glitter in clear base) to the top of Costume Glitter, creating a pretty mix of silver and gold. It looks really pretty in person. Too bad I wasn't able to capture it here. Anyway, just take my word for it. Have I lied to you? Well...have I? Hehe...
Overall, I think my "minimalistic" manicure looks pretty cool! This is definitely a mani that's perfect for a date night with the hubby bear. It is also versatile enough to be worn anytime you'd like some bling in ya life. You know what I'm sayin yo? Corny...I know. :(
These polishes are available from Sally Hansen's Website or at mass retailers throughout the nation. Make sure you check out the minimalist manis from the other Twinsies!
