Well, it's hump day lovelies and I hope your week is coming along fine. I'm in full job search mode, so that's all I really have going on at the moment. Well, besides being a wife, mommy, and handling things with the blog. Anyway, I have more from the massive Milani Cosmetics Color Statement Collection that was launched recently. Let's take a look at these pink beauties.
Dollface, according to Milani, is a "light blue-pink." This is what I would classify as a light pink that is borderline pastel. It's not quite light enough to fit in the traditional "baby pink" color range. Regardless, the formula was good and it went on easily in just two coats. It also dried to a glossy finish without topcoat.
Bombshell is described as a "bright pink." When I see this one, I think of a traditional Barbie pink type of color. The formula was good on this one as well. The first coat was slightly patchy, but it evened out perfectly in three thin coats.
Cupcake Icing is "an orchard pink," according to the brand. This one is a beautiful pink creme with blue/purple undertones. The formula was absolutely PERFECT. I used two coats and it dried super glossy. This was my favorite of this bunch! I think the color is perfect for anytime of the year. It's also a great pink color for those who aren't pink lovers because it balances perfectly between pink and purple. I think that's why I love it so much!
Hot Pink Rage is "a hot pink." I think that one explained itself! This one has an amazing formula and is extremely pigmented. It was opaque in one coat, but I used two as always. This one also dried to a super glossy finish without topcoat. It's one that pink lovers of all complexions could rock without a problem.
Corrupted Coral is a "bright coral" creme. Again, no color surprises there, since it's all in the name. This is a lovely pink leaning coral creme with a perfect formula. It went on without any issues. The formula was absolutely delightful and super pigmented. This is also another one coater. Of course, I used two here. Again, this one dried to a high shine finish without topcoat.
As with the purples and reds that I have reviewed from this line, the colors aren't remarkably unique, but they have some really good formulas. These polishes can be purchased from mass retailers throughout the country or on Milani's Website.
