Twinsie Tuesday- Sideways French Manicure with the Zoya Naturel Deux Collection

Press Sample
Happy Twinsie Tuesday lovelies! First off, I need to say Happy Birthday to my beautiful mother! I love that lady more than she will ever know! I have to...she loved me during the times where only a mother would love a child! Haha! I was quite a handful, but thankfully I turned out okay. Yep...she gets all the credit. Happy Birthday ma!

Today the Twinsies are showing off sideways French manicures. I used three shades from the recently released Zoya Naturel Deux Collection (reviewed here) for this manicure. If you read that review, you already know that I am absolutely in love with the entire collection. So I immediately wanted to create some kind of nail art with it. I really didn't realize that this technique was a sideways French mani. I actually thought it was a different style of color blocking. Anyway, let's take a look at what I created for you today.

I started with a base of Spencer, a rich caramel creme. For your recollection, here is my swatch of Spencer from my review.
Zoya Spencer

To create the sideways French, I used straight nail vinyls from KBShimmer. I applied two vinyls vertically down the left (or umm... your right) side of my nail. I used Aubrey (medium mauve creme) for the large part of the French design. Emilia (dark chocolate creme) is used as the outer line to separate Aubrey and Spencer.

I really love the way this looks. It's a little nail art for the conservative peeps! I am definitely becoming more conservative with my polish selections lately. Trust me, you will see much more from this collection on the blog. For now, check out the other Twinsies' posts by clicking their links below.
