Philly Loves Lacquer- Lacquer Chic Shop Exclusives

PressSample
Happy Saturday Polished Babes! I am in Philly with my family and today we're having a huge Labor Day block party! I really love coming to Philly for the experience of the unique culture and amazing food. Ironically, today's review comes to you from a brand that is based in The City of Brotherly Love. Philly Loves Lacquer has teamed up with Lacquer Chic Shop to bring you an exclusive four piece collection. Let's take a look at the polishes...

Gold on the Ceiling is a clear based polish, full of gold and silver ultra-fine holographic glitter. The gold far outweighs the silver in this one, as I thought it was completely gold when I first saw it. The formula is sheer, so four thin coats were needed for opacity. This was the point where I was only able to see a very light hint of VNL (visible nail line). This one is absolutely beautiful and I think it could also be worn as a topcoat over another color. I think I will try that out the next time I reach for this one!

Dr. Greenthumb is described by the brand as a "lime green semi-metallic creme with a subtle linear holo and subtle gold shimmer. Ummm....so...I didn't quite get that from my bottle. Before looking at the description provided by the brand, I described this one as minty colored shimmering polish with a frosty finish. There is nothing lime green about the bottle I have, so I will check into the possibility of there being an issue with my bottle. Regardless, I needed four thin coats since the formula was really sheer. Even after four coats, I still had a very apparent VNL.

Edit: Esther, of Philly Loves Lacquer has responded to my concerns with the description of the polish. She said the description I provided is accurate. The one that was originally provided to me was her old vision for the polish. I just wanted to let you all know. :)

Oblivion, according to the brand, is a black jelly base filled with gold and silver ultra-fine holo glitter. The formula on this one was absolutely PERFECT! The polish went on easily in just three thin coats and I loved seeing the microglitters sparkle through the base. It has somewhat of a starry night appearance. This one is spot on, in my opinion.

The last polish I have to share with you today is called Pink Cashmere. O.M.G....this is the most amazing raspberry pink creme with holo sparkles. Moreover, the formula was AMAZING and I had no issues with application. Although I used two coats, it was opaque in just one. I can't get enough of this one! I was so happy I saved it for last because this baby was worn as a full manicure for a few days.
