Happy Friday Polished Babes!!! Guess what? Today marks ONE YEAR since Polished to Precision was born! I am sooooo excited and proud of my blog. It's wonderful to see how openly I was accepted in the nail polish community and I am truly appreciative for everyone's support. I cannot thank you enough. Today also marks the release of the KBShimmer 6th Anniversary Celebration Trio! KBShimmer is also hosting an Summer Fun Giveaway to celebrate! Yep...very exciting, right?! I though it was perfect that this trio launches on this special day for P2P. You all know KBShimmer is my absolute favorite indie brand and I am especially appreciative and thankful for the opportunity to work with this company. I was recently offered an amazing opportunity with the brand, so you will see a lot more KBShimmer on P2P! Let's get to the pretties...
**KBShimmer Basic Training base coat & Clearly On Top topcoat was used in each photo unless noted otherwise.**
Shore Thing is described by the brand as "a bright aqua-mint creme with blue-green undertones." Bright. Yep. Gorgeous. Absolutely. I knew I'd love this one, as soon as I opened the box. This is my current pedicure as well! It is shown here in two coats. The formula was okay, but was rather patchy with the first coat. Everything evened out beautifully after the second coat was applied.
Beach Please is a "bright, near neon pink with purple leanings." Again, this is an absolutely gorgeous polish. The formula was absolute PERFECTION. This one had a thinner consistency than the other creme polishes from the brand and it seemed to tow the a very thin line of crossing over into a hybrid type of polish. Hopefully that makes sense. I understand what I am trying to say, but I cannot find the perfect words to convey to you in this post. Well, that just means you will have to see it for yourself! It is shown here with three thin coats.
Hexy Bikini is another addition to the textured line of polishes that were recently released by the brand. According to the maker, it "combines holo glitters in silver, teal, and pink." I'm pretty certain this is my favorite textured polish EVER! The formula was awesome, especially considering the density of the glitters. I used two easy coats and no topcoat below.
OK...so I screwed up. Sowwy. I am supposed to be showing you the new additions to the nail vinyls collection as well. I thought I had already saved all of my photos onto my computer before formatted my memory card. Guess what? I was wrong. Guess what else? My nail vinyls are packed with all of my possessions and are likely somewhere in the state of North Carolina or Virginia at this moment. So I had to redo all of the swatches when I got here to New England. <sad face> I improvised and decided to throw in some nail art looks anyway. I will post a review including the new nail vinyls as soon as I can. Take a look!
OK...I really feel like I have talked (or typed) waaaaay too much and you are likely tuning me out at this time, so let's wrap up. This collection is being released on August 1st on KBShimmer's Website. The trio is being sold as a set for $21 (shipping not included). You can also purchases the textured polish for $8.75 and the cremes for $7.50, if you wish to purchase individual bottles.
