Happy Monday loves! Today's guest post comes to you from my dear friend, blogging mentor, and fellow NOLE girl Lakeisha of Refined & Polished. I actually scheduled this post on today, as this date is significant to both of us. We both graduated from THE Florida State University on this very date, two years ago. Ironically, we did not know of one another at that time. She received her PhD and I received my first masters degree. I began to follow her blog later in the year and she is now a friend. Thank you so much Keish! Take a look at her post!
Hey dolls! It's my pleasure to guest post on Polished to Precision as Tiff and her family get settled in after their move up north. Hopefully all is going well with the transition and most of the unpacking is already done. In the middle of swatching a few new shades from the latest Indigo Bananas collection, I had to stop to do a little nail art with Molten Universe and Hole in the Sky. Molten Universe is an orange base filled with duochrome flakies and shimmer, while Hole in the Sky is a similar shade in a violet base. The shift in the flakies makes these polishes so unique and they go together perfectly. I used the swirly nail vinyls from Miami Handjobs on two nails and a dotting tool on the others to create dots down the side of the others.
I just love these two shades together! The swirly vinyls are really cool as well. I don't recall seeing these from any other brands. I'm sure Tiff already knew I was going to combine tape and dots for this look, since that's always my go to form of nail art. If you'd like to keep up with me, feel free to do so on my blog, Refined and Polished, or on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Thanks for having me Tiff!
Thank you so much love! I love this design! You are responsible for my addiction to Miami Handjobs and the weird looks I got from hubby when the packages came in the mail!! Make sure you follow Lakeisha using her links above!
