It's Monday. Everyone can breathe a collective sigh of disappointment that the weekend has left us once again. On the other hand, I have Jessica of Blue Velvet Lacquer with an amazing guest post that will surely take away the Monday Blues. If you haven't seen her nails, you are certainly missing out. Long or short, left or right hand, nail art or swatches...Jessica is always on point and this post is no different. Take a look...
Hey guys! I'm Jessica from Blue Velvet Lacquer. I was so excited and honored to have Tiffany ask me to write a guest post for her blog! As you all may know, Tiffany has lots of things going on this month. She's in the process of moving and it's her one year blogaversary this month! She's done amazing work, from her swatches to her nail art. Congrats Tiffany on such a great year you've had!
Tiffany gave me free rein to write about whatever I wanted so I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to do. But it was my friend's wedding recently and I was inspired to do some wedding inspired nail art that a bride could wear on her wedding day, or even a guest or a bridesmaid! I have three different designs to show you today. So let me know which is your favorite down below!
First up is a pink with silver glitter gradient. For this mani, I used Essie Got Engaged! as my base and OPI My Signature Is ''DC'' under OPI Snowflakes In The Air for the glitter gradient. I love how the pink already has a slight silver shimmer. I love how girly this is. And with the holo glitter topper, I just couldn't stop staring at my nails. I used the silver OPI to add a bit more coverage because the glitter was a bit sparse.
Next up is lace inspired nail art. For this mani I used Essie Meet The Parents as my base and used Essie She Said Yes for the lace detail. I really wanted to use Essie She Said Yes for the lace but I feel it would have looked a bit better with just a regular white polish because SSY was a bit sheer and I needed to go over each line to make it visible.
And last but not least, is a reverse golden glitter gradient. For this mani I used Essie She Said Yes as my base and OPI 50 Years Of Style and NOPI Inner Sparkle for the reverse glitter gradient. I really love this one! I was kind of hesitant on the glitter topper just cause it had purple in it, and it's not your typically color of choice for a wedding, but it really doesn't overpower the white. The gold really shined through. These are just so sparkly and super girly, love it!
I hope you guys liked these! Let me know which one was your favorite down below in the comments! Here's all my info so you know where you can find me! I mostly use Instagram so make sure to follow me there!
