Twinsie Tuesday- Skittles

Happy Twinsie Tuesday!!! Today's prompt requires us to show you skittle manicures. If you aren't aware, Skittles manicures are created by having each nail different from the others. These manicures are really fun and great when you are overrun with ideas, but can't choose just one. For today's manicure I decided to go ahead and show you more of the new nail vinyls that were recently released by KBShimmer

I started with a base of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, which is a very pretty pinkish taupe neutral color with a perfect formula. I used two coats and topped it with KBShimmer's Clearly on Top Quick Dry Topcoat (COT). After this was dry, I added neon dots to my thumb and ring fingers using Polish My Life Flaming Volia, Hot Cosmo, and Limetini. I added COT to make these dots shine.

The next step was to incorporate the new vinyls that were provided for review by KBShimmer. For the pinky finger, I used these vinyls (the thinner ones) and placed them horizontally across the nail. I added three coats of Flaming Volia to then nail and immediately removed the tape. I finished it off with one coat of COT.

For my middle finger, I used these zig zag vinyls and applied them horizontally across the nail. After ensuring that they were properly spaced, I added two coats of  Polish My Life Hot Cosmo and removed the tape immediately. One coat of COT was added to finish it off.

The index finger was created using these vinyls with the wider spacing. I applied two of the thicker lines vertically and used three coats of  Polish My Life Limetini. I removed the vinyls immediately and added one coat of COT.

I really LOVE how bright these neons are! I think the neutral and neon combo is one that I will be going to many times throughout this summer. I have seen some cute neon and neutral manis from Young Wild & Polished and Chit Chat Nails. Both of their nails are always fabulous and they are great for inspiration. The vinyls from KBShimmer are super easy to use. They have a great adhesive that  makes them stick to the nails without coming up. Additionally, they remove easily without messing up your designs. I have already ordered more of the designs from her shop!
