Twinsie Tuesday- Inspired by Nature

Happy Twinsie Tuesday lovelies!! First off...today is my Kendi Pooh's 3rd Birthday!!! I cannot believe she is three now. It seems like these years have just flown by! I am so in love with her. Those of you who are my Facebook friends are fully aware of how smart, funny, and how much of a handful she can be. She has brought nothing but joy to our lives. As the only girl...she is spoiled rotten! If you want to see a big grown man turn into a soft mushy marshmallow, give him a daughter. She is definitely a daddy's girl and has her brother's hearts too!

Otay Otay (in her language), let's get to the post. The Twinsies are showing you manicures inspired by nature today. Yep. Nature. Think, think, think....how can you pull off a nature prompt oh ye of little nail art skills? Hmm...I got it! Elevation Polish. Duh! If you know anything about Elevation Polishes, they are all inspired by some form of nature, outdoors, and things of that nature (hehe...pun intended).

I went with two beautiful Elevations that I have never worn to create this look. I started with Aconcagua, which is an orange holographic jelly. Application was a dream, as with all of the other Elevations I've ever tried. I used two coats as the base. Apparently, Aconcagua is a mountain/volcano in Argentina. Yep...totally Googled that!

I created a gradient using Aiguilles d'Arves, a reddish brown holographic polish. The formula was perfect to achieve the gradient. Going back to my handy dandy Google, I learned that this is a mountain chain that is a part of the French Alps, located in...wait for it....France. Yep...you win a cookie!! Anywho...I dabbed that along the tips a few times with a makeup sponge and Ta Da!

So here is my nature inspired look. If you think I cheated...keep your trap shut. Hehe! If you like the mani, let me know in the comments below!
