Sweet Addictions Subscription Box Review- August

Press Sample
Happy Saturday Polished Babes!! The Jordans are in the final stretch of our move to New England. UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!! It seemed so far away and now it is like BAM! Anyway, I have the August edition of the Sweet Addictions Subscription Box from Cupcake Polish to review for you today. This month, Cupcake Polish has teamed up with Philly Loves Lacquer and Love, Angeline to bring you a circus themed box. Let's take a look...
August Sweet Addictions Subscription Box

Cupcake Polish Topsy Turvy is a gorgeous teal linear holo with a light gold shimmer. I used two coats, but it was opaque in one. The formula was absolutely fantastic and seemingly applied itself. I absolutely adore teal polishes, so this one is a definite win for me!

Philly Loves Lacquer Trilby is a deep blurple (blueish purple) jelly with glitters in multiple colors, sizes, and shapes. I love the colors in this polish. They are a perfect combination! The purple lover in me absolutely adores this one. On top of that, the formula was great! It went on easily in just two coats. Topcoat was added to smooth the glitters and add a beautiful gloss. Due to the density of the glitter in this one, I suggest waiting a few minutes between coats to prevent the glitter from dragging or clumping together in one area.

Love, Angeline's contributions to the box are two different designs of Stuck on Love Nail Shields & Decals. These vinyls can be used as a decal, meaning you just place the design onto the nail and apply topcoat. For the first look shown below, I used two of the elephant decals over Cupcake Polish Topsy Turvy. One coat of topcoat was used to seal the deal. This was relatively easy to do, but make sure you are careful when removing the decal from the paper. Because of the detail of the elephant, you may tear his trunk or tail!

For this second look, I used two of the diamond/star shaped shields as accents over Cupcake Polish Topsy Turvy. After the polish was completely dry, I applied the shield and polished over it with one coat of Orly Saturated (deep purple creme). The ring and middle fingers are shown with two coats of Philly Loves Lacquer Trilby. I removed the shield while the polish was still wet and...TA DA...these cute little stars appeared! Love it!

Overall, I think this is another great Sweet Addictions Subscription Box. This box will be available Sunday, July 27th in the Cupcake Polish online store. Remember this box is a limited edition. So be sure to grab yours, because once they're gone, they're gone. The boxes retail for $30 each and you will receive all of the items shown in the photos above.

So what do you think of this box? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a great day!
