NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel- Purple Pizzazz, Boat Basin, & Starry Glitter Review

Press Sample
Happy Sunday lovelies! I hope you had a great holiday weekend! I just spent time with my family in my hometown. I also did manicures and pedicures for my mother, aunt, and cousins. They all came out great and they want to order supplies to start doing it themselves! Uh oh! Perhaps, I have started another addiction! Oopsies....LOL!

I have three polishes from NYC Cosmetics to show you today. The first one is called Purple Pizzazz and is a stunning royal purple with intense blue shimmer. The formula was patchy on the first coat, but covered easily in three coats. The formula was pretty good and I really like the long brush that these polishes have. I absolutely adore the shimmer. It is very apparent. Unfortunately, my camera wanted this polish to appear more blue than it is in real life. Trust me...it is a gorgeous purple and that shimmer is everything!

Next, I have this gorgeous royal blue creme called Boat Basin. Ummm...yes please! This is such a pretty blue and the formula was absolutely amazing! This one was opaque in one coat, but I still used two out of habit. This is a definite win in my book!

This last polish is a glitter topper called Starry Silver. It is a clear based glitter topper with silver, pink, blue, and aqua glitters and silver micro glitters. I used one easy coat over Boat Basin and I had no issues. I really like this glitter and think the combination is adorable. I can also be built to the desired opacity with multiple coats.

You can purchase these polishes in various retailers throughout the country. They retail for approximately $.99 each. I have never used this brand before and I am very pleased with the formulas and colors I was sent. I think this is a great bargain for just one buck!

Have a great day!

Any staining issues with Boat Basin? It is a gorgeous color but I shy away from blues because I am trying to avoid staining. Gorgeous post!
