Twinsie Tuesday- Nail Appliques

Purchased by Me
Happy Twinsie Tuesday Polished Babes!! I know I've been super quiet since last Tuesday, but last week was full of graduation stuff! Yes... I did it! I graduated last Thursday with my Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. As some of you may know, this is my second masters degree and I am super proud to now sign my name as...Tiffany J. Jordan, MSW, MS.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme has us showing off some nail appliques. I took my inspiration directly from the queen of Skittlette manicures...Marta of Chit Chat Nails. She always uses the best combos in her manis and she was the reason I purchased this set of nail appliques from NCLA. I started with two coats of Cult Nails Falling Hard, which is from the most recent collection that was a collaboration with Ms. Marta. The polish went on easily in two coats and topcoat was used. I added silver diamond shaped studs (provided for review) from the Born Pretty Store to accent these nails. The studs were super easy to use and add a really nice pop to the pink base.

I only used one applique in this mani and I went with a black and white one that had diamonds that correspond with the studs used. The last step was to add two coats of Zoya Magical Pixie Cosmo for the bling on the pinky finger.

I absolutely love when Marta does these types of manis and I am proud of how my version came out. You can find these studs on the Born Pretty Website. Be sure to use my discount code EQL91 for an extra 10% off. Be sure you stop by the other Twinsies' blogs to see what appliques they have to show you.

  1. oh that silver glittery polish is beautiful!

  2. I love it! I really missed your postings! Congrats again on your recent accomplishments!!

  3. What a great achievement! Congratulations!!! I know it seemed at times that this day would never come, that it takes forever! And now it's behind you. :)

I love your mani! I am just now starting to get into wearing nail studs, etc. Last year, I thought I would Neveh! I'm old enough that I should know better. :P Anyway, that applique on your nail is great - you did such a good job getting it on. Anything with geometrical shapes seems to require extra care since it's pretty obvious when they aren't put on straight! Great polishes and studs to accompany it.

  4. Congratulations! And loving the glitz here!

I love the way you mixed things up with this mani! Fantastic combination, and I love the applique accent. I also love the way the Pixie Dust and the studs work together, and it's one of my favourite colour combos too!
