The Polish Bar Spring 2014 Collection Review

Press Sample
Hi there lovelies! Today I have a review of spring polishes from The Polish Bar. This is the first time this brand is appearing on the blog as an official review! I am super excited to be working with Janice. I have always loved her creations and she was one of the first indie purchases I made. We all know it went down (well...up) hill from there!

Sheer Rose is a pinkish/purplish crelly with a scattered holo effect. I used three thin coats without topcoat. The formula was good and I had absolutely no issues with application. I must mention that there were some reports of staining with this polish from other bloggers; however, I did not have any issues at all.

Magic Mint is a soft minty colored crelly with a scattered holo effect. I used three thin coats and no topcoat here. The formula was a little thicker on this one, but not problematic at all. I love the softness of this shade!

Far, Far Away is a gorgeous blue toned violet scattered holographic crelly. Everything about this polish is spot on! The formula was impeccable, making application a breeze. The color payoff was fantastic in two coats. It is shown here without topcoat. It is a little less blue toned than shown here. My camera completely freaked out at this beauty and refused to accurately represent the color.

Jardin is the only glitter topper I was sent to review. It has shimmering clear base with lavender flowers, multiple colors of pastel hexes, and some translucent glitters as well. I applied one coat over Zoya Wednesday. I really love how these colors compliment one another! The formula was good and the glitters went on evenly across the nail without any dragging.

Orchid 2014 is a soft orchid colored holo with blue and pink flashes. This one is absolutely amazing! The color flashes add so much depth. I used three thin coats without topcoat here. There were no issues with the formula or application.

Overall, these polishes are awesome and perfect for the spring. I'm so glad to still see this shades around, since there are so many summer collections being introduce already. Janice always has awesome and unique creations. Furthermore, her customer service is EXCELLENT. These will be released on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10 am PDT. Be sure to set a reminder!

I am really loving Orchid and Far, Far Away. Which ones do you have your eyes on?
