Twinsie Tuesday- Go To Polish

Nothing to Disclose

Happy Twinsie Tuesday!! This weekend was a whirlwind of emotions. On a very happy note, my oldest child turned 10 years old on Sunday! I can't believe I have a 10 year old!! My Jhailen is such a blessing and he is the sweetest child ever. He definitely loves his mommy and isn't afraid to show it. I have been advised that I need to refrain from using my little nickname for him in public and around his friends. He also advised me that he'd prefer for me to call him Jay and reserve the use of his full name for more formal settings. I guess I have to face it...he's not my little baby anymore. The opposite side of that coin came with the first anniversary of my mother-in-law's untimely death to Leukemia. Sadly, she passed away on my son's birthday. We love and miss her dearly.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to share our "go to" polish. You know...that one polish that you can always rely on. Its the one you pull out when lacking inspiration, bored, happy, sad, mad, or glad. It's just the one for you. For me, that polish comes from my favorite mainstream brand, Zoya. My go to polish is the super dark and vampy blurple (blue ad purple) cream, Pinta. It is a perfect balance of purple and blue and the formula is perfect! It is basically a one coater, but I used two. I absolutely adore this shade and Pinta always comes through for me. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall...not that those seasons can be distinguished here in Florida, but you get what I mean!

In order to spice up the mani for today, I decided to attempt a little nail art using another of my go to polishes. Zoya Trixie is a super pretty metallic silver foil polish. I love this one for accent nails especially! I created a quilted/diamond striping tape design on my ring and middle fingers using Trixie and Pinta. To complete the look, I added silver rectangular nail studs to the pinky and index fingers.

I really like the way this look came together! What do you think? Make sure you check out the other Twinsies' blogs to see what they chose as go to polishes. I know I can't wait!
