Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Review

Press Sample
Hi there lovelies! Today I have another new brand to debut here on P2P! Exciting right?! I love trying new brands, so when Dave from Octopus Party Nail Lacquer contacted me a few weeks ago, I readily agreed to review some products for his company. I was sent two super cute lacquers to show you and I am sure you will love them!

Ametrine Hour is described by the maker as "a glitter lacquer inspired by the rich colors (gold, orange, and purple) of ametrine - a variety of quartz consisting of amethyst and citrine." I used 2 lightly dabbed coats over a purple cream polish to achieve this look. The glitters were jampacked in this clear base, but the formula was easy to use and there were no issues with application at all. This one can be worn over a variety of colors to achieve different looks. I suppose it could be built up to create one super dazzling manicure as well!

I love these colors together! Definitely a look of royalty.

Laser Tag is just...WOW!! I mean...insanely gorgeous and sparkly prettiness in a bottle! This one is described by the maker as "a  purple jelly filled with teal holographic glitter." The formula was rather sheer and slightly on the thick side on this one. Since this was the case, I decided to layer it over a bluish/purplish (aka blurple) cream. I think this worked best for me, because attempting to reach a good opacity would have taken to many layers, which would've resulted in a thick looking manicure. Ummm...no. I'd rather not. Despite the slightly thick formula, the polish applied without any issues. I absolutely LOVE the way this came out and it sparkles like crazy!

I couldn't stop staring at this one when I wore it! Gosh...this is stunning!

Wow...I must say, I am truly pleased with my first experience trying Octopus Party Nail Lacquer. The polishes are currently available, along with a wider selection in the brand's Etsy Shop. Each polish is $10 for a full sized (15ml) bottle. For more information, be sure to follow the brand on Facebook.

Toodles!
