Polish Me Silly Thermal Polish Review

Press Sample
Hello lovelies and Happy Monday to you all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Me? Well, I didn't do anything particularly special, but I was able to get some posts lined up for the blog and some reading done for my classes. Today is an exciting post, because this is my first opportunity to review the indie brand Polish Me Silly. I LOVE their polishes, so I am so happy they were nice enough to send a few for me to review. Side note: this company was formerly named Lush Lacquer.

The first polish I have to share with you today is called I Pink U R Special. This is a thermal polish, which changes colors depending on your body temperature. At warm temperatures, the polish will appear a light pink and when cold, it changes to a deeper pink tone. To add an extra dimension, it is full of circle and diamond shaped glitters and I got one heart out on my index finger! I used 2 coats for these photos and there were absolutely no issues with application at all. The formula was delightful! This one screams girly and I have been embracing these types of polishes and colors lately. Here it is in it's warm state.

Going, going, going...

Misty River is another color-changing thermal polish. This one is a pretty blue color when warm and changes to a dusty purple when cold. It also has different sizes and shapes of blue and purple glitters. Again, the formula was perfect and went on easily with two coats. I think this may be my favorite of the two! Why you ask? Why not? They managed to get two of my favorite polish colors to combine into one ultimate transitioning beauty! Here it is in it's warm state...

Still going...

Really? I mean...WOW!!! I think these are both super unique additions to the thermal polish trend and I look forward to trying more of these. If you weren't aware, another of this brand's thermals, Mermaid Tears, made my top indie polishes list for 2013. Click HERE to see it in action. You really can't go wrong with anything from Polish Me Silly. Although this is my first time reviewing their polishes, I have been a customer for quite sometime and I have never been disappointed. Make sure you follow the brand on Facebook and Instagram for updates on new collections, sales, and release information. You can CLICK HERE to be taken straight to their Etsy shop.

What do you think of these polishes? Have you jumped on the thermal trend train yet?

*HK Girl topcoat by Glisten & Glow was used in each of these manis*

Happy Monday!
