Hello lovelies!!! I guess I should start off by saying Happy New Year to you all! I have taken a much needed break away from everything over the past few days. I'm back now and ready to roll! I am so excited about the accomplishments the blog has experienced thus far. Furthermore, I am extremely optimistic about the future of Polished to Precision and I look forward to sharing these experiences with each of you. There are some great things in the works, so please stay tuned. Today is the first day of my last semester in graduate school and I am not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, I am excited that it is almost over. On the other hand, however, I am nervous about what the future holds for me as a professional.
First, if you hadn't seen the news on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter... I am extremely flattered, humbled, and honored to have been acknowledged in two distinct manners regarding the blog. Jill, the owner of Glisten & Glow, named my blog as one of the top blogs of 2013!!! Click Here to check out the share on Instagram. I cannot even begin to explain to you how amazing it is to be recognized with some of the top bloggers around. Top. Yes. Top. I am talking Lucy's Stash, The Nailasaurus, Kellie Gonzo, Manicurator, and so many other awesome and well-known blogs. In addition to this honor, Jill bestowed a special honor upon this blog by naming Polished to Precision as THE BEST NEW BLOG OF 2013!!!!!!!!! WHHHAAAAAT?! OMG....I nearly passed out when I was informed! I am so thankful that my hardwork is being recognized. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this was for me. Today's post is simply to update you on life and the blog. I also wanted to show you this gem of a polish from Pahlish Nail Color. Armor Falling Down is a deep purple cream packed with golden shimmer. I really LOVE this polish and I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger to get it. I used two easy coats and I wouldn't even dare do anything more to this beauty.
