The Loaded Honey Holiday Duo Review!

Press Sample
Hello lovelies!!! It's been awhile huh? Well... the holidays are in full swing now and so are my end of the semester obligations for school. For those of you who celebrated...Happy Thanksgiving! I believe Hanukkah has begun as well...so Happy Hanukkah is in order! Let's all remember the reason for the season and beyond the materialistic and commercialization aspects, there are many things to be thankful for. I, for one, am thankful for my husband, children, family, friends, education, the nail community, and everything that I have been blessed with.

Today's post comes to you in the form of a duo created by 2 relatively new brands that I have recently had the pleasure to review their beauties. Nail Honey and Loaded Lacquer created this beautiful holiday duo that defies the traditional holiday color scheme. This is really refreshing because so many holiday polishes are released and often sit lonely in our helmers (melmers, boxes, racks, or whatever you may have) for the rest of the year.

The first polish in the duo was created by Nail Honey and is called Sleigh of Steel, a beautiful charcoal grey creme with holographic micro shimmer, which provides a slightly metallic finish. The grey is absolutely perfect in all respects...color payoff, formula, dry time...everything. It is beautiful on it's own and can surely serve many purposes, as it is extremely versatile too. I used 2 coats and HK Girl Topcoat for the photos below.

Here's a macro of this beauty...

The glitter bomb for the duo was created by Loaded Lacquer and is called Giddy Up Jingle Horse. This is a mixture of multiple sizes of holographic silver, berry pink, lilac, and magenta hexes. I really love this combo! Truly stunning! I used 1 coat and topcoat for the photos below. I dabbed a few spots to fill it in for better coverage, but this baby is packed and there is no shortage of glitter! There were no issues at all, the formula was perfect, and this is truly stunning!

Macro shot...

I wanted to try it out with matte topcoat, so here ya go!

Another macro (matte) for you...

As usual for me...I couldn't leave well enough alone, so I added an accent nail using a holographic heart stud from the Born Pretty Store.

The Loaded Honey Holiday Duo will be available on December 2, 2013 at 5PM CST in both shops. There will be 20 sets available at the amazing price of $16! Really...2 full sized beauties for $16? Yep...that's a deal. Both of these shops have great customer service, so I am sure you will receive your set in record time, no matter the site you purchase from. More info below...
