Happy Monday and Merry Christmas Eve Eve!! I hope you are completely or almost ready for Christmas! If not...you have 2 days left! Get it together! Haha! As I said before, I am so done and now I am ready to spend time with my loved ones. Let's look at some polish, shall we?
I have another beautiful Shimmer Polish to review for you today. You can see my first review HERE. Cleo is described by the maker as a "fuschia jelly and blue sparkle" glitter bomb. This polish is another example of Shimmer's amazing ability to combine these superfine microglitters into the perfect base, resulting in a stunning creation. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity in these photos. This polish can definitely be layered, but I prefer the depth that's achieved when used alone.
Isn't she lovely?
Shimmer Polishes are so intriguing and versatile, I can't stand to leave them alone! I decided to show you a simple nail art look using Cleo and I really love the way this turned out. For the accent nails, I started with two coats of Essie No More Film (deep purple creme) and added multiple sized dots using Zoya Trixie (metallic silver foil), Essie Naughty Nautical (teal creme), and Orly Purple Crush (purple/pinkish creme).
I made sure to pick colors that would truly capture all of the glitters used in Cleo. I think these colors come together very well. What do you think?
