When we have these collaboration manis, we choose a theme surrounding a particular polish, colors, nail art, or a combination of all three. This time we decided to all use the same polish and incorporate stripes into our designs. No need to be exactly the same for this mani because it's always fun to see each person's interpretation of the theme. This was a super simple idea but I think we pulled it off in a great way!
Let's start off with my dear Sia (@athanasiamaria). You may remember her from this post where I showed off a beautiful custom polish she created for me, along with a custom we created in honor of our daughters. She and I have now been friends for approximately one year and I couldn't ask for a sweeter person. The most amazing part is, nail polish brought us together, but our friendship blossomed into so much more than polish. Sia is currently baking her third baby pie and we will have another little stinker to spoil around June! Exciting!! Sia used Dirty Diana and incorporated diagonal black stripes and dots as accent nails. Super cute!!
Next up is Debbie aka Mama Bear. You may remember Debbie from her guest post here from September, where she wowed us with her mosaic nail art mani. I f you haven't seen it, you must check it out! I am super excited because Debbie and I will meet in person for the first time in a few weeks when she comes to Orlando! I can't wait! Debbie's our "Mama Bear" and keeps us grounded when we get out of line!! Hehe! Debbie used Dirty Diana and added stair step single stripes on each nail using Ninja Polish Sexy and I Know it for the stripes. These look great together!
Now we have my mani. I used a design that was inspired by Polished Candies on Instagram. I started with a base of the holographic goodness that is Dirty Diana and added freehand stripes in silver and black. I also created a triangular shape in silver in black with the stripers. I really love how this came out!
Well, that's all I have today from the Polished Sisters. Britt we love you and hope you feel better soon. I really hope you all enjoyed this post and these manis by these sweet and talented ladies. Have a Merry Christmas Eve and a very Merry Christmas!!
