Hello lovelies! Sorry for the impromptu hiatus. With the semester winding down, a sick baby, and battling my own illness...I just couldn't get it together. Can you believe I wore the SAME manicure from Monday to Sunday? Haha...wow...I still can't. Amyway... I am ready to get things back on track. I have a few weeks off until the Spring semester begins and I will be enjoying this break. Luckily, I am down to my last 2 courses before I graduate in May, so next semester should be a lot easier to navigate. Anyway...nail polish...
Today I have the second part (you can see part 1 HERE) of the Holiday Collection polishes I was sent from Laura at Polish Addict Nail Color. This set includes 3 glitter toppers and 2 jellies and I am sure you will love them! First up is Winter Solstice, which is described as "a glitter topper with a mix of blue, white, gold, holo dust
and iridescent glitter dust." I used 2 light coats over a nude cream. I really like the way the blue and white glitters add a hint of sparkle to this color base. I think this manicure is a representation of glittery sophistication!
Vintage Christmas Ornaments is a "A very sheer red glitter topper with a mix of glitters in
various shapes in sizes and colors, black holo diamonds, red dots, and pink
dots." I used 2 light coats over a purple cream base. This topper has a Christmas theme, but it really versatile and can be worn throughout the year, especially in Fall and Winter.
The next polish I have is called Lavender Frost, which is a "glitter topper with iridescent glitters and lavender flakies." For this mani, I used 2 coats over a mint creme base. This is a very soft and delicate shade. I really loved it paired with the mint because it provided a little contrast. Soft, subdued, and subtle...
Orange is the New Black is "a black jelly with a mix of orange, lime green, green,
silver, and blue glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes." I used two light coats over a black creme base. You don't need undies for this one, I just preferred the look with undies. This is an awesome polish that doesn't lend itself to one season or another. Versatility at it's best!
The last one I have to show you is called Blue Christmas, "a blue jelly with blue, periwinkle, red, yellow, copper, and
brown glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes." I LOVE everything about this polish! The jelly base was perfect and it went on without a hitch in 3 (thin) coats. The depth is truly unreal! Ahhhh!
That's all for today! Polish Addict Nail Color can be purchased HERE. Many of these are currently discounted because of the seasonal aspect. This is a great time to stock up on some of these beauties. Be sure to follow the brand on Instagram and Facebook for new, updates, release, and previews of new pretties!
Have a great day!
