Nail Honey Bee Day Trio Review

Press Sample

Happy Saturday!! First, let me say that I am so sorry for the absences this week. <insert very sad and apologetic face here> I have had an extremely busy week with school. The good news is, my birthday was AWESOME and one of my most loved gifts is my new Nikon L820 camera that my hubby got for me! Yes...he is definitely the bestest! I have been playing around with the camera, different settings, and photo editing software for my computer. Let me say...this has been a daunting task! So please excuse me over the next few weeks as I play around with settings, lighting, watermarks, etc. I have my first review for you today using my new baby. She shall be called... 'Nikondi.' Hehehe...I'm a bit coo coo!

Let's get started here. Nail Honey is a new to me and up and coming indie polish brand. The creator, Bee, is an absolute sweetheart and I am so happy to be working with her. I used HK Girl Topcoat by Glisten & Glow for each of the following manis.

The first polish is called 11:11 and is a deep blue shimmery jelly base with "silver holo and black hex glitters, along with silver crescent moons and bright blue stars." This polish is super pretty and full of shimmer. I used 2 coats and topcoat. The formula was slightly thick, but not unmanageable. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any of those pretty stars or crescent moons onto the nail. Still, this is definitely a beauty!

Crown Jewel is a "dark purple jelly base filled with various sizes, shapes, and colors of glitter." This baby has blue, white, purple, and silver glitters throughout it's beautiful purple base. Again, the formula was slightly thick, but not overly problematic. I would probably wait a little longer between coats, to help with an even dispersal of the glitters over the nail. This is 2 coats and topcoat below.

The last polish is called 27 Candles and this is my absolute FAVORITE of this collection! I seriously LOVE everything about this polish. The formula was fantastic, the glitters spread evenly, and the color combo is just amazing! This is another polish that is extremely versatile, allowing you to show off your love for glitter, while having a slightly more subdued look. If I haven't already mentioned it....I seriously LOVE this! Sorry...getting a little out of hand here. But really this baby was a beauty at one coat, but the obnoxious lady inside of me always uses two coats.

I think Bee really hit the mark with her Bee Day collection. Nail Honey polishes can be purchased in her store HERE. The polishes retail for $8 separately (full size) and $21 for the trio. can save a few bucks by getting them together! Package deals are SA-WEET!  You can follow the brand on IG @nailhoney for updates on new releases, sales, and other information.
