Hello lovelies!!! I hope you had a great weekend! My weekend was awesome, as it is always great to be back home with my family. Today's mani is focused on Domestic Violence Awareness. As I stated previously (HERE), October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month. Purple is the color that represents this cause. Please be aware of this issue, as it is not as rare as we would hope. There are many women, men, gay, straight, and various other demographics that are impacted by these issues daily. Please visit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (HERE) for more details. Most of all, be aware and willing to understand and assist those in danger of physical and emotional harm.
As I stated above, purple is the color that is used to represent this cause. I have a gorgeous manicure to show you using Colors by Llarowe True Colors. This is a deep purple holographic polish. I used 2 coats and HK Girl Topcoat for this manicure.
This purple is so regal and gorgeous. Look at the intensity of the holo!
The rainbow shown here is absolutely amazing!!
Llarowe has completely outdone herself with this one! I mean, really? Purple. Holo. AHHH....what more could I ask for?!
Oh...did I mention the formula? AH-MA-ZING...LITERALLY!
This could have easily been a one coater; however, I have some sort of weird complex about using only one coat of polish. I know...weird.
Now that I have picked my jaw up off the floor, I can tell you about the brand a bit more! You may already by aware of the super dee duper fantastical amazingly sweet Leah Ann and her online shop Llarowe. If not, click that link and you will be in awe! Aside from her main business as an e-tailer, Llarowe has branched out to create her own polish line and it is gorgeous!
Llarowe offers a vast array of indie and international brands. Most of the brands offered, are hard to obtain for customers in certain areas of the world, but her site makes the ordering process easy. Well...most of the time. Recently, our polish obsession and absolute craziness has crashed and slowed down her site during launches and restocks of major brands. At this point, she is taking steps to find alternative solutions to enhance the buying experience and improve efficiency. The worst part of this all is that she has absolutely NO control over the amount of people attempting to connect to her site at once, the amount of inventory provided by each brand, or the technical difficulties that go along with an internet based company. Unfortunately, some people within the nail community have been absolutely rude, disrespectful, and downright RIDICULOUS in their attacks and messages to her, both publicly and privately. It truly is a shame. End of rant.
Be sure to follow LLarowe on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates on her beauties from Colors by Llarowe and the other brands she carries.
