Busy Girls Nail Challenge

Hello everyone!! Today I come to you with a brand new challenge! Unlike last month's complete debacle on my behalf with the 31DC2013 Nail Challenge, where life (and lack of artistic ability) got in the way of my completion, this challenge is much more doable!! I participated (and successfully completed) the summer Busy Girls Nail Challenge and it was a lot of fun! I met and became acquainted with new nail girls and it was great to see everyone's interpretation of the weekly themes. Here is the challenge... (more details under the challenge tab above).

This challenge is being hosted by some awesome bloggers, including Beauty by ArielleDrink CitraFierce Makeup and NailsMiranda's Makeup, and Polish Obsession. The challenge is easy and the name provides the context...it is for BUSY GIRLS!!! I love doing my nails, but the pressure of an everyday nail art challenge is too much for lil' ole me to handle! Lesson learned. Haha! Help me out Sweet Brown...

HAHA...she cracks me up! On to the mani I created for this week's theme.

As you can see, the theme for week one is Antique Gold. There were so many things I wanted to accomplish with this mani and I think I did a few of them! I wanted to knock out at least one untried, so I started with 2 coats of Enchanted Polish January 2013. This is one of the coveted monthly LE releases from Enchanted. It may not actually be antique gold, but it is close enough for me! My description is probably off but I see it as a golden bronze duochrome holographic polish. Wait...it's possible that's wrong. Anyway, this beauty speaks for itself but today we will refer to her as Antique Gold!! HA!!

Isn't she a beauty?! This is just an example of one of the reasons Enchanted Polishes are so coveted.

In order to accomplish my next goal, I decided to do some stamping with a French Tip as accent nails. I used NailNation 3000 No Rest for the Wicked #400 to stamp on the design from Pueen plate 7.

To finish, I added the black French Tips using the NailNation polish and dots to the other nails. I topped it all with HK Girl Topcoat by Glisten and Glow. I really like the way this came out. The design seems to work well with the "antique gold" look of the Enchanted Polish. What do you think?

Please let me know if you are participating in the Busy Girls Nail Challenge. I am adding the image to the Nail Challenge tab on the blog, for your convenience. Also, if you participate, please be sure to tag all of the hosts listed above and use the hashtag so your mani can be represented with everyone else who participates!

Toodles!
