Guest Post- Dani From Polish, With Love

Hello lovelies!!! Here today we have another guest blogger!! Dani runs an awesome blog called From Polish, With Love. She and I met through Instagram as I admired her adorable nails and handsome little boys!! I mean..seriously...they are the cutest! Dani is a super sweetheart and was so kind enough to put together this beautiful post with her amazing nail art! Welcome to Polished to Precision Dani!

Hi polish peeps! I'm so excited and honored to be over here at Polished to Precision today! I met Tiffany through Instagram and was super honored when she contacted me to be a guest blogger this week! I look forward to every post of hers because she is a girl who can truly wear any polish!! I love her fun way of writing and she's sure to talk you into any polish with her swatches.

I guess I better introduce myself! I'm Dani and I run the blog From Polish, with Love. I'm a SAHM and wife and I've been blogging for over 2 years now! Along with swatches and reviews I also like to do nail art so that's what I decided to show you today!! I got the inspiration for this mani from a fall decoration that my mom gave me! She knows how much I love owls and I knew as soon as I saw it, it would make some great nail art!!!

For this mani I started off with a base of Zoya Minka which I thought matched the background of the picture perfectly. After I let Minka dry thoroughly I started on the owl. I applied Zoya Bobbi. I then took a striping brush and Zoya Kerry and applied a thin line almost across the whole bottom of the owl but left some space for his wings. I then made an arch with Kerry and connected it to the other side of the line for the owl's feathery belly. I then took another nail art brush and Zoya Darcy and made a small triangle at the top of the arch for the owl's beak. With the same nail art brush but cleaned off I applied OPI's A Roll in the Hague on two spots over top of Darcy for the owl's feet. I then took the striping brush and China Glaze Unplugged and made a few thin lines on top of ARitH for the separation for the owls toes. I then made some lines on each side of the owl for his feathers. I then took a tab of top coat and applied it on the owl's belly. I had some small gold hexes from essence that I applied with a small dotting tool for the glittery belly feathers :-) I then took a larger dotting tool and Zoya Purity and made two dots above the beak for his eyes and two smaller dots with China Glaze Liquid Leather for the pupils. I then took the same striping brush and Kerry to make little wisps for his eyebrows, take the same striping brush but cleaned off and apply a couple stripes of Unplugged over the brows for detail.

For the other nails I took my striping brush and Kerry and made some golden vines and outlined them with Unplugged for definition. Finish off with top coat and you're good to go! I'm really please with how this turned out! Here is the inspiration below!

I just love this picture and it brightens my day every time I look at it!!!

I just love my little harvest owl :-)

I want to thank Tiffany again for having me on her blog!!! Hope you all enjoyed my cute little owl nail art and hope to see you all over my way too!!
