A Box, Indied: Jindie Nails Screaming Halloween Review

Press Sample

Hello Lovelies!!!! I am super excited and extremely nervous about today's post!! Why? Well, I have the opportunity to review Jindie Nails Screaming Halloween! As you all know, I LOVE Jindie Nails! Jen and her polishes hold a special place in my heart, as she is super sweet, amazingly talented, and has also become a good friend of mine! Jen has been super supportive of my blog and I am so thankful for this opportunity.

A Box, Indied  is the new subscription polish box that is being offered by Llarowe. These are the details from the Llarowe website:

A themed monthly subscription box containing 5 exclusive full sized polishes from 10 collaborating indie polish makers. These polishes will not be offered elsewhere. Polish makers will rotate into each month's offering and each month will contain 5 different polishes from 5 of the polish makers. Each month's box wil be packed in a black gift box labeled "A Box, Indied." The indie polish makers involved in this collaboration are:

Black Cat Lacquers
Different Dimension
Dollish Polish
Ethereal Lacquer
Freak Show Polish
Jindie Nails
Liquid Sky Lacquer
Polish Me to Go
Wicked Polish
As you can see, this list of collaborators ROCKS!!! These are all very well respected and creative brands. I am sure this will be a blast! Screaming Halloween is the Jindie Nails contribution to the introductory October box. Halloween is the theme of this month's polishes, well, because it's in October (duh!) It is a really creative mix of glitters with Jen's signature crelly formula and glitter combos. Check it out...more deets below.

The base is a really funky (in a good way!) chartreuse(ish), yellow(ish), green(ish) color. It has a blend of black crescents, multiple colored stars, multiple colored and sized dots, black diamonds, and various hints of micro shimmer. Whew!! What's even more amazing than all of these glitters? The formula is great! It goes on with great color payoff in 2 coats. I did place some glitters (just because I like them dispersed in different areas) but I did NOT have to fish at all.

I did use a coat of Gelous to smooth out the surface of the glitter before adding topcoat. I used my HOLY GRAIL...HK Girl Topcoat by Glisten & Glow and it all came out perfectly!
