The Polish Bar

Hello lovelies!!! I have another great indie brand to show to you today. These looks feature polishes from the Spring 2013 collection by Janice at The Polish Bar.  Upon venturing into the indie world, this was one of the first few brands I purchased. The selection is amazing and unique and customer service was excellent.  Now let's get started....

This first manicure was created using 'Spring Showers.' It is described by the creator as having "various sizes and shapes of silver holographic glitter in a cornflower blue crelly base." I absolutely adore everything about this polish. The application was great!! I used to coats with one coat of topcoat. This is a true beauty and it really does capture the essence of the stormy skies, indicative of the Spring Showers.

I loved it so much, I decided to change it up a bit and add an accent nail!! For the accent nail, I used OPI Liquid Sand in 'Solitaire.' This one is a glistening whitish silvery color! I applied 2 coats of Solitaire and no topcoat. This is my favorite of the Liquid Sands I own so far.

Here's one last view because I just LOVE this combo!!

The next look I have for you is called 'Shiny Pebbles.' It is described by the creator as "a mix of various sizes of dark brown, copper, orange, and aqua hex glitters and small aqua square glitters in a white crelly base." Again, no issues with application and I used 3 thin coats with one coat of topcoat. The name of this one is perfect! Doesn't it look like a pebble?!

I really love this polish! It will be perfect for the fall! Again, I couldn't stop myself and I was in a textured accent nail mood!! For this look, I used 2 coats of Zoya Pixie Dust Beatrix from the Summer Pixie Dusts Collection. This brought out the orange and gave it an additional pop!

**Currently, The Polish Bar is on vacation, but the shop note indicates she will reopen on August 14th. My favorite topcoat, HKGirl was used for both manicures.**

So what do you ladies think? Do you like accent nails? Which polish or combo is your favorite?
